Lot 610 Item: Eugène Laurent(1832-98) Bronze Orestes At Alter Description: Eugène Laurent (1832-1898), France; Gilt Bronze Statue, Orestes At The Alter of Minerva. Numbered #9532, with embossed foundry mark "AB Paris" with dog. Statue has black slate base. Dimensions 22" High X 15.5" Wide X 7.75" Deep. Condition: Statue is in good condition. Slate base has some minor chips.

Lot 612 Item: Silvered Roman Centurion Girandole Set Circa 1850 Description: Three Piece Silvered Roman Centurion Girandole Set Circa 1850, possibly Philadelphia, Pa. Center five light girandole with Roman Centurion standing on a two step marble base trimmed in silver, supporting an acanthus urn with five scrolling leaf candlearms. The center girandole is flanked by two matching three light girandoles. The set has a total of 121 prisms. Center girandole measures 26" H. X 20.5" W., flanking girandoles measure 21.5" H. X 17.5" W. Condition: Set retains the original silver plate with some wear. Most prisms are original and several have small chips. One candlearm has bend (see photos). Center girandole has spacers added for support.

X 7.5" D. Condition: Bust has crack in shoulder and head. Pedestal stand has been broken in half and glued.

Cloth-bound interior with two removable trays. The lid with tacked paper label "Louis Vuitton, London, 454 Strand, Paris, 1 Rue Scribe, serial no. 36066," one iron end handle is marked "LV," one exterior end is painted with the initials "B.H.B. and the other end looks to have the same initials but they are partially obscured by two freight labels, one is addressed to Mrs. G.C. Fraser, Eastern Point Yacht Club, Gloucester, Mass. from 23 High Street, Hastings on Hudson, New York. ". 23.75" H. X 40" L. X 21.75" D. Condition: Trunk has a replaced handle marked C.F., New York. One top wood strap is an old replacement.
